Sprint Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Sprint Corporation was an American telecommunications company. Before its acquisition by T-Mobile US on April 1, 2020, it was the fourth-largest mobile network operator in the United States, serving 54.3 million customers as of June 30, 2019. The company also offered wireless voice, messaging, and broadband services through its various subsidiaries under the Boost Mobile and Open Mobile brands and wholesale access to its wireless networks to mobile virtual network operators.

Haylee shares her experience on consumeraffairs.com, "We came back from being overseas for over 7 years and signed up with Sprint. We were promised 5 lines for $100. They also checked the map where we were moving and said it had great service there. We were overcharged more than 3 times what they said. The service was so bad that I could never have a conversation with anyone. Texts sometimes took days to reach the intended person. The last straw for us was when they changed us from the lease to the forever lease. This means that all the payments we made don't count for owning the phone. When we went in to tell them about it the guy was like, "I would recommend another company."

"Work all day everyday and still expected to do more. They keep your commissions and come up with some reason to justify it. Continue to change commission structure to ensure that you make no money, in fact you lose money this way. Upper management could care less about you or your safety. Also don't expect equiptment to work, you'll be disappointed every single time."

"service is awful and not good"

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) says

"This is the most unprofessional place I have ever worked for the staff and management sucks. You are a seat filler at this company. I wouldn’t refer a homeless person to apply for Iqor.NoneUnprofessional"

Sales Consultant (Current Employee) says

"This job offered me a management job at hire, signed paperwork for it. Did not hire me as a manger, cut my rate in half, and refused to promote me. The worst set of management, the worst experience in a job ever.slowpacedlies, unfilled promises, empty promises"

Mobile Expert (Former Employee) says

"I give this store 0 stars , the management is garbage , easily the worst place I've ever worked for. The current manager kayla is terrible at her job , the schedule would change daily with no notice regardless of when your day off was supposed to be and it would be held against you. the commission plan was awful and professionalism was not there.nonemanagement and low pay"

Mobile Expert (Current Employee) says

"They’re are so many things wrong with this company, they don’t pay you what you could get at a corporate store doing the exact same thing, not to mention these they are willing to go behind your back and do shady things such as reduce your hourly rate without notifying you all on top of unrealistic goals, they will sell you the world trying to get you to work here and I would strongly encourage you don’t Jobs isn’t hardManagement, compensation, work life balance"

Customer Service Representative Expert (Former Employee) says

"I worked there for three years. At first, it was a great place to work until somebody decided to cut costs and make a team of experts and overwork the employees! A typical day consists of wear every hat you are everyone, research, sales, tech support, etc. Not to mention Tmoblie has the worst customers on the planet not all of them but a fair amount of them, people with bad credit living outside there means and basically broke and think service is free. I also worked for at&t this company doesn't want to be liked like T-mobile. But you will respect them and pay them. Never in my life have I felt so overworked underappreciated, disrespected than when I work for T-mobile. Don't apply you will regret it! Dead end job period!75% of serviceTeam of Experts to much work"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"There shouldn't be coaches harassing a good worker.doing coaching with this worker each day trying to belittle and intimidate them so they can quit there job. Better yet just be straight forward and tell them you don't like them. And human resources should be able to assist the workers when they complaint about certain coaches and they have multiple complaints do Something about it instead of giving the coaches more power to do as they want with the good workers."

Lead Retail Consultant (Current Employee) says

"Management definitely suck do not work at the Dekalb il location on sycamore rd manager all he cares about is himself always leave work whenever he wants and lie so much. He never want to talk to customer when they ask for him employees have to do everything for him. MoneyPoor management and bad environment"

Sales Manager (Former Employee) says

"Worse environment to work for. There is very little room for advancement. I was way more dependable and qualified than most of the management there. They write you up for every little thing. Managers would be late repeatedly, and nothing would happen. Too much favoritism in the company and do as I say not as I do.Good hoursSlave driving management and horrible advancement opportunities"

Run far away those people are poisoned (Former Employee) says

"Very rude during the interview wasted my time a bunch of nonsense selling scenes you have to do for 8 dollars an hour. No thanks, them two managers guys not the business one was abrasive and domineering and the other young one was very immature and naive how do interview with your leg cocked up on the wall or whatever it was. I got away from that place.I dodged a bulletI dodged a bullet"

Mobile Expert (Former Employee) says

"The day you leave training, you aren't worth the money they put into you because they've changed everything, and what you JUST learned in training is obsolete. During the first wave of covid, they did pay full salary plus commission, for a month. Then it dropped. And then stopped. They aren't really requiring masks. They haven't stuck to madates at all, they aren't deep cleaning often. Management basically says "g you" when you need emergency leave, or something comes up. The culture is very cult like, and the employees claim to "bleed magenta". It is frightening, and customers have commented on the cult like culture surrounding it, not favorably.the customersbasically everything"

Manager (Former Employee) says

"NOt a happy place to be working at I rather work and get paid less but at a place that I really enjoy and not be stressed like this place.Glad they out of business"

Customer Service Representative/Keyholder (Former Employee) says

"Management (who is responsible for training) rushed through training and then doesn't understand why you cant understand procedure. For example..closing the store since they just want to go home the do it themselves. You dont get paid enough to deal with mean customers."

Customer Service Chat Representative (Current Employee) says

"TERRIBLE THE WORST PLACE TO WORKMANAGEMENT IS A JOKE AND THERES A BULLY ENVIRONMENT. Don’t do itThe management doesn’t have a clue about what goes on! They only hire certain types of people in management NoneTerrible Training"

District Sales Manager (Former Employee) says

"Expectations from the top aren't clear and execution at the ground level is poor with no accountability- as a district manager, I should've been permitted to dismiss disruptive and underperforming employees and was not. It was a terrible environment that pays less than a store manager position with most other carriers. I do not recommend.Pay"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"Poor management, too much gossiping, no support, no Hr support. Favourites are always given priority. It is not a nice working environment due to management and the higher up people who really have no clue about anything, just walk around like they are important"

Sales Representative (Former Employee) says

"Your higher ups are all remote. You literally work alone all day which is concerning because people are known to rob phone stores . Faulty internet . What should take 3-4 minutes take 10-20 minutes . When asking for Help with internet you’re told to call the provider and troubleshoot mind you- you’re alone to operate the store trying to assist customers & you have to be on the phone with the service provider . No structure. Lunch breaks .... HA. You are discouraged from taking one .Weekly payNo help . High expectations from managers ."

Tankstellenmitarbeiterin (Former Employee) says

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"Horrible experience they are not a company who cares about you or tour goals only selling stuffs for the customers and they will suck your soul out of you if they need it to sell more."

Basket weaver (Former Employee) says

"Not much to conplain about bow because its gone. No one cares about this place now. I’m glad its Tmobile now. They made the sales culture impossible at this companyNothingBothing"

Credit Analyst II (Former Employee) says

"From the date of hire they will lie through their teeth. They will hire you on with false promises of this big Sprint family with, various opportunities for advancement. You take the job and work in the office it's completely disgusting. The manager's and supervisor's are incompetent and morally bankrupt. The play favoritism and allow the workforce team to do so as well in a discriminating manner. They will ban together to illegal find ways to try to fire you by sabotaging work, and making your environment overall uncomfortable in which you will loathe to come to work. During the company buyout they started to secretly change peoples stats so that they wouldn't receive bonuses or be hired into T mobile. They also promised job security and what do you know many of Sprints work force will be terminated by August. To be honest most that work for Sprint are under qualified and are extremely rude to customer's which is why most people hate the company. T mobile won't be any better unless they terminate most of Sprint's management team as well as it's supervisor's. Also, let's not get on the harassment that goes on at that place.. I'm glad I found a better job when I did, I might be out of work do to them keeping that a secret. BEWARE!!!NoneEverything!!!"

mark says

"thankfully i have 2 cell phones because when i went on vacation in Kalispell Montana the Sprint phone cant pick up any signal. I spent an hour on my good non-sprint phone with tec support. They are unable to do anything at all. I know the phone worked fine when I left Salt Lake City and will probably work ok when I return. But I need it working now."

Monique says

"Sprint is the worst. I have been dealing with them for 9 years but as of today im canceling all my lines And no matter what a rep tell you on a recorded line you better get it in writing. My battery got hot on my phone and would not hold a charge anymore. I was told since i been a customer for 9 years i dont have to pay my deductible it was on the house but i had to purchase sprint home complete. I did. After they realized my phone was not fixable and i went through the whole process of claims. They tell told me i had to pay my deductible."

Rebekah Mayer says

"As I am reading all these reviews, I am wondering why I have stayed with Sprint so long. I have been with Sprint for 14 years. Since they have joined T-Mobile, it has gotten worse. There are not good deals for existing customers. They lie on their payoff fees and then tell you have to pay them more. Doesn't matter how many representatives assured you this was "all it will cost you". Know it WILL be more, and unless you want to screw your credit, you will end up paying it anyway. Fees for the 'convenience' of chatting for an hour with a rep when it could have taken 10 min???? An activation fee PLUS A fee to buy your phone in the store instead of online? A hidden fee when you pay off the phone and it was to be paid off "total pay off price". Paid. Oh wait, you owe another $136 that was not on there. Thank you Sprint/T-mobile for all you do to keep your customers satisfied."

Lenell Brown says

"After being a loyal customer for the past three years, I decided to upgrade my phone. Sprint told me that I had to pay full price for the phone because I did not qualify for a payment plan. After paying full price for the phone, I learned that Sprint reallocated the price I paid for the phone and applied it to my bill, and somehow overcharged me. The next month, I received a one month bill three times by monthly amount. I attempted to figure out what happened by working with customer service. While I am trying to explain what occurred on my account, the representative attempted to get me to add another line to my account. After some time, the customer service representative became frustrated and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Time to look for another service provider."

Yuli Hernandez says

"The worst company ever. They lied and said that if we switch to sprint they would give us one free phone if we open in account with them. We bought two phones and supposedly got one free phone. It turns out that the phones are rented and the years that we payed for them meant nothing. They are manipulators and liars"

Jim Crowther says

"Dishonest combined with manipulation. Worst company I have EVER dealt with. Don't trust anything they tell you!"

Neil Mitchell says

"Very dissatisfied with sprint. Liars all the way around do not notate the customers accounts like they say they did. I’m a first responder and they will not listen to that as well as they constantly turn off your phone for no reason at any given time. They’ve lied about what my bill should be each month my bill is never the same and never has been. Took 2 lines off my bill and My bill went up instead of lower. I’m going to the news, consumers report, attorney general’s, public trades commissioner etc as this is worst experience with a cellphone provider."

Kevin Riley says

"I was a sprint customer for 15 years. In December I went into a T mobile on Siegen Lane(Baton Rouge,La) and got the service from HELL! I was purchasing an iPhone 11 for my daughter as I paid her old phone. The rep put my phone number into the iPhone and my daughter's phone number to my phone! For some reason he nor his manager, nor about 6 other people involved could return MY number to my phone. This went on for FOUR hours. Finally got my number back, then I was told I couldn't leave with the iPhone 11 until I pay off another device that was paid off in 2019. I was working 12 hours nights at the time, getting off to drive almost 45 minutes one way for 4 days straight trying to get this matter settled. 3 of those times they sent me to another store, and another store, then another store til I told them I had enough, since no manager can't solve this just give me my money back. In store and on the phone I was told they can't give me my money back once the transaction is made, they've already put that towards my bill. My bill was already zero balance! Finally, I called one last time to cancel the service. Oh now don't cancel! They can do this for me, they can do that for me! I told them all I need is 2 return kits. I moved on to At&T. Sprint was fair for a number of years that I was with them. But now since combining with T Mobile, it's gone to "Pure Garbage." Sprint wants to blame T Mobiles people... T Mobile wants to blame Sprints people. They're ALL to blame. After the way I was treated after all of the years,I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to go to Sprint..."Now part of T Mobile." Negative 5 Stars"

Chris Washington says

"Sprint is trash 🗑. I talk to 4 people to get disconnect no credits as the promised.. nothing in the notes that they took. T-mobile merger made it worse now they want $1000 to upgrade my phone."

Damian Martinez says

"I think this should be the 4th time I do a review in my life but I couldn't let this happen so easily, this company are cheaters, liars and scammers, they charge different every month and basically is whatever they want, you call to ask and all are ''fees and taxes'' that not sure how changes every single month when it shouldn't. I have had the worst experience ever with Sprint, I swear Do Not use them, they are the worst out there no matter what they tell you, they will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to sell the service and most if it will be a lie...cheaters and scammers!!! that's all they are!!!"

customer says

"Spent one hour and 32 minutes without success. I spoke with four different people. The representative said he would take care of me. The phone disconnected after talking for 28 minutes and he never called me back! Sprint continued charging me for equipment long after it was paid for. They have screwed my bills and plans up forever. I called to have them temporarily suspend one phone on the planned. They turned it off then put it on another plan. I believe it was intentional. Often you will get someone who seriously cannot speak english. We had three people here while they were on speaker phone once and none of us could understand anything."

John Melvin says

"Where is the 0 stars? I have been using sprint for over 20 years. I will never upgrade another phone and find another company to go with. I have talked to I know over 5 people and countless hrs on phone and chat and still in the same boat. Sprint Drive I ordered a 2nd one and they don’t understand English they removed my working device and never got the new one to work. I got this in December it’s almost the middle of January and nothing.."

Emily Nahill says

"After signing up for a promotion four months ago, Sprint continues to not honor their own promotion and overcharge me every single month. Every month I have to spend a minimum of an hour on the phone to get back an overage of $50-60. Do not sign up for Sprint. If you don't pay a bill, then they can call collections on you, but when they over debit your account by $50-60 monthly there is nothing you can do to get the money back into it. It is not okay. They make legal contracts with their patrons and then break their end of the contract. At this point I am willing to pay more monthly if it means I deal with an honest company."

Rachal Rachal says

"This is almost comical at this point! I signed up with Sprint a year and a half ago, Had the phone for two days ,had problems with it ,didn’t like the service so I returned the phone and canceled the plan .. then for the next four months they still kept trying to charge me the $98 for something I already returned and canceled ... after a million phone calls to them it was finally fixed... so I thought LOL .. fast forward a YEAR AND A HALF later , to today and in my email I get a thank you for your payment of $98 from Sprint on a card thank God I don’t have anymore!!! Seriously ??!!! Unless you want your bank account ripped off (for crappy service btw) do not use sprint !!! I wish I could leave 0 stars !!! 😡"

Lucero Bocanegra says

"I deeply regret signing up with sprint, first I was signed up on a lie that it will help my credit which sprint does not report to Credit bureaus unless a negative charge off! 2 I having been paying for extra items I did not know I had, and I did not need! Early pay offs save no money!"

Bernice Caplin Ray says

"I bought 2 phones. One Iphone 12 pro max. I talked to the sales people on line n 10pm tonight I realized there's No plug to charge my phone. In the box it only has a cord, Nothing to plug it in with n of course it has changed. On the side fing the box it says in little print you need to purchase the plug.. i have a prior iphone. SO NOTHING HERE WILL WORK... I hate Sprint! MORONS"

Yuriy Kilgishov says

"I am going to leave Sprint/T-Mobile. I got a new google pixel phone. The store didn't have Sprint sim card and couldn't activate e-sim. They told me i need to contact corporate i did and after 2.5 hours on the phone they told they didn't have card and tried to activate e-sim with no luck and they gave answer: We don't what to do. Terrible service and employees not qualified."

Tuan Lam says

"There was no option for a no-star so I did not have a choice but to pick up 1 star. A bunch of useless people to do customer support for the sprint."

Angie Allen says

"I actually give them 0 stars. As I’ve been a customer for well over 15 years when it was Nextel I’ve had never really had issues until the past 2 years with what they tell you over the phone and actually do are total opposite. My advice is to stay away from sprint/T mobile!!"

Louis Ways says

"I’ve been with Sprint since 2004. Coverage for me and my family was ok, not great, but Ok. A few years back the customer service was fair to good. That is not the case any more. It is very difficult to find someone to actually talk to and when you do they can’t do anything. The service in the TMobile stores, and I have been in several lately, is horrible. I don’t really think it’s the employees fault, they just have their hands tied. I’m kind of stuck with Sprint for now, but I would shop around."
